Excellent point!
I, too always assumed Petunia was referring to James, never did I consider it to be Snape, even after reading DH. It all makes sense now, as she clearly was revolted by Snape.
I also agree that JKR centered this around her Snape/Lily plot. Its amazing how she laid out the foundation for the DH chapter revolving around Snape's childhood memories........... |
