As far as who was more important to the storyline- the Weasley's were probably more important, even if one just measures in the amount of time/pages the Weasleys are mentioned in comparison to the Malfoys in the books.
On the other hand, I think the Malfoys could have been very different- for both better and worse- than JKR ended up making them in DH. |
