Good eye you have there Hedders! Right off I want to say she was backing up her Snape/Lily friendship. I think Snape really enjoyed telling Lily shocking stories about magic and magical beings when they were children. It made him seem bigger and all-knowing. I think his life was so miserable that he needed to feel big sometimes. But I am going to ponder on this a while too! |
