All of JKR's books frequently mention eye color. Mermen and Madame Hooch have yellow eyes like eagles. Dobby has green eyes. Gilderoy has blue eyes. I think Arthur Weasley has blue eyes. Interesting detail. Have you noticed this as you were reading? |

- J.K. has them in groups by power, rank , inteligens, house.. etc.
