K., so I think Ron and Hermione will end up together. JKR gets asked about Ron and Hermione's lovey wovey thingy alot and has said (words to the effect of "I can't believe that I still get asked about this. I think it's pretty obvious...".

To play the devil's advocate however, how's about this for a theory: JKR's said that having to choose from what's easy rather than what's right will be the main theme in the next books. How's about Hermione turns out to be easy? No ... only joshin but hows about, Harry's hormones turn from being a whingy whining git to thoughts of love instead. Looking around, and inspired by all the lovin' and attention that Hermione is receiving from Ron and Viktor AND being the typical competitive male, he finally notices that Hermione is female. Ron notices the 'I'm Hermione interested' -ness of Harry and gets v. v. angry, and hurt. Ron becomes a deatheater to seek his revenge. Our intrepid trio becomes a love triangle leading to betrayal, heartache and death! Come on all you fan fiction writers out there, start jotting this plot down!
