It actually makes sense that Gryffindor is the stand out house because the Sorting Hat says in one of its songs that of all the attributes, bravery is the most prized. Zonko: You do have a point,i believe to some extent if you use your brains the bravery might not be necessary. but wisdom and bravery might be needed in different situations. for example YOu might be wise and was able figure out what potion kills snape but you need to be brave in order to actually give him the potion. so i think even though you are wise you at least need some sort of bravery.
