*Bows*
And now I'd like to read you something even better...
...written by our very own teddylupin...
Also from the thread "The Ballad of Harry Potter".
Teddy's poem about Severus Snape:
"Ensnare the senses,
Strong defenses,
The silver doe,
You still don't know,
The Prince, the spy,
But why, but why,
Give love for lies?
For him with her eyes."
And now Teddy's poem about Remus Lupin:
"Moonlight pain,
Wolfsbane sane,
Darkness near,
Full is fear,
Blood and claws,
Fur and paws,
Three at first,
Which was worst?
Packmates lost,
So deep a cost.
One returns at last.
The other just runs fast.
Two years hope,
Heal and cope.
Then death again,
And danger's den.
Pink light, pink joy,
Their Teddy-boy,
Love, war, but grief,
Happiness too brief.
End of the fight.
Walk to the light.
Remember the dead,
Mourn those who tread,
No more beside you,
To Remus, adieu;
Beyond the veil.
Moony's tale."
