This was beacuse in the USA, the word "
Philosopher" is not normally used with relevance to magic...but more commonly used with history and sits next to names like Leonardo Da Vinci and such.
In England...a "
Philosopher" is also used in regards to magic as well as names in history, and so the name was not needing to be changed for their books
