Don't you think it's interesting that V couldn't stand being in Harry's body because of all the emmotion/love he felt there and yet Harry's blood which is flowing with the love of his mum, V could handle, indeed, needed, for his rebith? I would think that Harry's blood would have stuffed up the rebirth ritual if this was the case.

How did you get that D chose the spell that saved Harry not Lily? She's the charm expert and the mother, why is it him?

I do believe that this blood tie is going to come back to bite V somehow. Maybe like the battling brother wands V just won't be able to kill Harry. What do you think?

Does anyone out there know much about this 'life debt' thing?
I know on the Mugglenet site they were talking about the possibility that LILY and V might have had this kind of relationship which is why V told her to stand aside rather than just kill her. Pretty far fetched I reckon. It does bring me to MY far fetched and yet favouite theory however:
Harry is Voldemorts and Lily's lovechild.....after all Harry does look like Tom Riddle!!!!!!!! Wottya think?
