KaraC: Howdy stranger! Amelia Bones, Susan's mother, is currently Head of Magical Law Enforcement. She sat with Fudge and Umbridge during Harry's hearing after the Dementor attack. The chapter begins on page 137 in OOTP. I believe she is going to be the new Minister of Magic at least I hope so. She acted sensibly at Harry's hearing.
