I have no idea what this means. I can see that now, but it doesn't make it any less gross. It still didn't work.
I never got around to that one. I have a feeling I wouldn't like it.
This whole topic is giving me flashbacks.
In my misspent youth, I often tried to be nice to people who weren't very popular. I wasn't flirting -- just being polite and letting pathetic loosers talk. Drug addicts, derelicts... And I was always surprised when they imagined a relationship that never existed. Oops, I did it again.
It wasn't flattering. You have one, single conversation with an incredibly lonley person and a month later he comes back with a full-blown fantasy and a serious marriage proposal... (shudders) ...excuse me, I think I need to go and drown myself in the shower for a few days... (I may be old and decrepit now, but I used to be hot.) | *Stares for a few seconds, then breaks into uncontrollable laughter*. I meant that if you think about those memories of Severus when he still really young, a student, and you work forwards in time for there instead of backwards, from the Marauders' Hogwarts time to the present, everything seems more likely. Well, I for one have adjusted to the idea. It didn't feel as though, out of nowhere, this was just sprung on us, which was sometimes the case. Romances with buildup rarely feel gross to me- only rarely incompatable. At the risk of sounding like a shrink, I think part of your dislike of the pairing has a lot to with your own experiences with romance similar, but unpleasant. Still: ROFLMAO. XD |
