I never thought of two faces in one of those things. I see it now. ;o)(o;

You are not listening. I didn’t expect any particular ending. I just expected her to tie up all the loose ends (she did not) and give us a story that made sense (it did not).

I doubt it. But at this moment, the answer to that question is unknowable. I don’t go around blabbing about it, especially to people who haven’t read it.

For that reason, it was the easiest to write. She didn't just make it up as she went along. She had been setting it all up for ten years. All she had to do was tap that first domino, sit back and watch it all fall into place.

Her writing style and the complexity of her plots grew up over the years and left that wimpy little story in the dust. What she should have done is realize that her original plot was crap. Changing the plot would have made the job a little more difficult, but it would have been worth it.

The older I get, the less I want to watch TV. I didn't get around to watching "Friends" until it was in re-runs, and I've never seen the Sopranos at all.
The last series that really got to me was "Deep Space Nine" -- they had a great ending. "Cheers" had a great ending. "Mash" had a great ending. I can't think of any others right now, but I'm sure others have managed. It IS possible.

But that’s just the trouble. She ruined the whole journey. Your football team is a perfect example -- “the fact that we never lost…”

Imagine, at the end of that last game, you’ve started celebrating, thinking you’ve had a perfect season, and some ref comes along and changes the past – it turns out that you lost half of those games on some technicality.

As it stands, you can look back and see a perfect season.
I look back at the HP series and see a lot of un-kept promises.
