He has certain Hufflepuff traits, but I think, not counting Gryffindor (which, when you think about it, doesn't seem to be as strongly demonstrated in him than Ravenclaw, say) that the other Houses are more suited to him. The research and everything... very Ravenclaw. The draw to power like a moth to flame? Decidedly, if fatally, Slytherin.
