Back to the original question, so no harm done, but MilSpouse please make sure you are answering the last post so as not to skip over anyone's questions.
I would save the potion for a particularily dangerous and risky endeavor. (Such as breaking into Gringotts or inflitrating Hogwarts). If I had no need for it in that sense, than I would, as Slughorn said, "watch an ordinary day become extraordinary".
