The sadest moment in my mind would have to be the death of dobby (i cried like a baby). But there were so many other sad moments in this book that it is hard to pick just one. If I had to pick another I would have to go with Hermione being so distraught after Ron leaves. I really identify with Hermione, she has lost her love and must being feeling very alone in the wizarding world at this time, especially since she put that enchantment on her parents. The only person that she has left is responsible for sending away Ron. I would hate to imagine feeling so alone in such a time of utter turmoil.
