I tend to agree with you on that. I love the character, and in the movies Alan Rickman is a hoot--but is Snape redeemed?Not really. It's a selfish love he had, he never helped Harry or Dumbledore with a pure heart, it was always based solely on his unrequitedlove for Lily. Even in the end it was forgiveness in Lily's eyes he wanted to see, not Harry's.
But he is a darn good read! |
