I've had a lot of issues with JK simply not honoring her own work as much as some of her fans, with the movies especially, where she, of all people, should have noticed- and stopped- all the shortcomings.
So many movies make rot of the book - I don't think it's typical for writers to get much say once they sign off - I just wish one of her biggest fans would do the screenplay - so what if the movie's 7 hours long?
