I think it is always better to reread the books, than to see the movies.
Especially, because it was clear from the beginning, that there would be 7 books, with a story that goes from 1 to 7.
So it would have been better to wait until, well now.
But I think the people who made the decisions never wanted to make good movies. They wanted to make a real good business.
