I believe the form is the 1/8 of the soul still residing in Voldemort- and the other 1/8 survives in Nagini but is not united with the other 1/8 in "Limbo", or just King's Cross. I felt when reading JK's response that it was more implied that the scaly flaky baby was the same form Voldemort's soul would have after he died- and after 1/8 had been destroyed.  |
