I noticed the same thing. I think academically trained actors do their best to refer to their characters in the third person. It's part of their filling in all the facts on the character.
Now I am going to wax on about how great all of the cast is. As I've said before I love the fact that we have watched all the children grow up. And I am delighted that Jo insisted on an all British cast. If she had allowed Americans we would probably have been subjected to the indignity of Tom Cruise as Lupin or Asheley Judd as Tonks or something. Horrors. And such a treat to see all the wonderfully trained British actors such as Maggie S., Alan R., Richard H. (bless him), Fiona S., Richard G. and on and on.
