The movies are fun and entertaining, but pale in comparison to the books. But that is usually how it seems, no? Rarely do movies live up to reader imagination, I think. But I wonder how fun they are if you have NEVER touched the books. Do they stand alone, with no point of reference, as good entertainment to your sons, MCDirector? |
