Comes with working with teenagers I think. Life is easier if you keep them laughing -- especially when you teach a subject so many don't like. AND when you've got one failing and have to talk to a parent -- it's so much easier when the parent says, the kid hates math, but they know I'm on their side regardless of how the kid is doing in math.
