we've got 21million people for the entire country. We do have our own shows. but it's only about 30% of total Media (tv, film & music) here. The rest is the best of what the world has to offer.
Getting back to the original question.
Sometimes sporting tournaments are held with participants that have a historical link. Perhaps Hogwarts, the Beauxbatons & Durmstrang are the oldest, biggest schools. and so, historically - a Tri-Tournie would seem sensible.

Yes -- on the baseball championship, - The World Series. I'd not even thought of that. It's been that way for almost a century. It just involves the teams that are already part of the regular league and there are only a couple of teams that reside in Canada in it anyway. Not much of a World is it
