lol - yes - we certainly do have a film industry. It just isn't as prolific as the UK, which i don't think is as prolific as the US...
we've got 21million people for the entire country. We do have our own shows. but it's only about 30% of total Media (tv, film & music) here. The rest is the best of what the world has to offer.
Getting back to the original question.
Sometimes sporting tournaments are held with participants that have a historical link. Perhaps Hogwarts, the Beauxbatons & Durmstrang are the oldest, biggest schools. and so, historically - a Tri-Tournie would seem sensible.
eg: doesn't the US have a 'world baseball championship' involving only the US & Canada? (please correct me if I'm wrong)
