Favourite Parts in Deathly Hallows I noticed parts in this book - as in all the others - where your heart skips a beat, gasp or even cry.
for me;
- hermione saving the boys at the wedding and taking them to safety - managing to bring everythingg they need! smart girl
she did the same when they were in lovegood's house and managed to cover ron with the cloak, blast a hole through the floor so they saw harry and therefore spared harry.
- kreacher becoming their friend, and then doing all he could to help.
- dobby saving the day, in his little heroic fashion
- harry's huge brain wave, where he suddenly realises that everything links together, realising that dumbeldore had the elder wand all along!
- basically the entire chapter explaining snapes memories, and his basically life-long dedication to Lily, his bravery in his duties from both sides, and the strength it took for him to kill dumbeldore and face the hatred from the order. then carrying it on until the second before his death. all for love. the one thing voldemort never seemed to acknowledge as his weakness. - and where you get to the stage when dumbeldore explains that harry must know he is the final horcrux..i had thought that, but still my heart sank.
- When they are saved in hogsmeade, and then when harry looks up and sees the blue eye, and figures out that its aberforth. my heart sank again, i was so relieved to know he was there.
finally the most touching part i think
- harry turning the stone in his hands, and his 4 loved ones - James, Lily, Sirius and Lupin. Giving him their love and support. |
