it sounds crazy i agree but thats what jk is good for, throwing spanners into the works.but he can't be the hbp if you think about it.the hbp wud have to be somebody able to hold a wand if he was to be any role in the fight between good and evil.and if he was an animagus that wud mean that he wud be an illegal one coz there have only been 7 in the century that haryy is alive in-the 20th coz remember it was 1992 in the second book(reference to nearly headless nick's deathday party.).and hermione wud have realized when she researched on the animagus that a phoenix wud be strange.but point is, dumbledore prb only had him for the time he was headmaster and thats 50 years so that rules out the animagus story.but i'm not getting my hopes up on the theories floatin about incase they are used and the story is spoiled or if they aren't and then i feel bummed that the story didn't play out according to what i hoped.so its final, i'll wait for the book(but i'll still post) :P
