Yeah, definately could be. Or maybe he despised his Dad for the way he treated his Mum and so then turned against muggles because of this. I think that could be why he turned to Voldemort.

I agree with this too and perhaps Dumbledore is half blood or muggleborn which is why Snape realised that not all muggles are bad (maybe).
