I have always had the sneaking suspicion that Snape intended Harry to see his supposed "worst memory." Does anyone else get that impression?

Yes, Snape reacted very badly when he caught Harry looking, but could it have been all according to plan? If Snape had really wanted to keep information from Harry then why did he show Harry the pensieve at all? He knew that Harry would be curious. Besides, how on earth could Snape's "worst memory" be something like that. That man has seen or experienced countless terrible things in his life. Why in the world would he put some juvenile embarrassment in there instead of important items like the dark revels or being branded with the dark mark? I guess it just doesn't make much sense to me that he would be safeguarding this memory when there are so many awful things to remember.
