Yes! Let the theories begin.
I think “Deathly Hallows” will have at least a double meaning, maybe triple or more.
The first meaning is concrete, like the other titles. Simple and straight forward – the horcruxes are hallowed objects (set apart, respected, special) and they are deadly (like Slytherin’s ring, they will probably have terrible curses prepared for any who dare to tamper).
The second meaning could have something to do with the veil between this world and the next. (The afterlife? The other realm?) The worlds are said to be closest on Halloween. The idea of a veil makes me think of Sirius – could he come back after all? Or could he offer help from beyond? |
