'Harry Potter' coming to Riverfront Park tonight
FITCHBURG -- "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" will be shown tonight in Riverfront Park, marking the last Movie Night of the season.
Entertainment and music begin at 7 p.m.; the movie begins at 8:30 p.m. The event is free.
Mayor Dan H. Mylott and Lisa Wong, executive director of the Redevelopment Authority, organized Movie Night this year as a way to introduce families and residents to the year-old downtown park.
Three movies have so far been shown.
A press release issued from Mylott's office this week says Movie Night has been "extremely successful and we hope to continue it in the coming years but for now, wizards, warlocks and muggles, make sure you come down to experience the magic, thrills, and wonder of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
