That's true. Though if Kreacher had Dobby to sort of watch over him it might be safe enough. Dobby won't let it get used for the wrong things. Then again, why not have Dobby use it in his own right? Dobby seems to know a lot about the castle and there might be more knowledge that he can impart to Harry in the next book from there. Who knows?
