i don't think anyone else agrees with this but just thought i'd confirm that a director hasn't even been signed up to direct HBP yet, let alone book 7. So it's kinda impossible. And i know Hollywood likes to take the mick and change storylines when adapting books to films, but the whole reason that JKR is so involved in the film process is to ensure that the film makers get it right. So basically, this is wrong. Perhaps Harry will die, but if he does it will be because JKR planned it, not because some non-existent director told her that was what was happening.
