you're right, they do progresss as one story. they all tie in together in some way, don't they? you can take the series, put them all in one enormous book, and eveyrthing would fit together perfectly. i think she knew what she wanted to do with the whole series from book one. so, really, it is hard to choose favorites, isn't it?
