i think the map was an asset to harry, ron and hermione yes it helped them to do things that are considered troublesome---but also it helped answer many questions and helped them in many ways--ex. if it wasn't for the map they wouldn't know that Moody was actually Barty Crouch's son , I Found that to be amazing
