The Harry Potter movies have all stunk, and future episodes will continue to stink, simply because you can't make a decent movie out of such a complex book.

What I'd really like to see is:
First, continue making the stinko movies as usual, let them make their money in the theatres & video.* THEN, make it into a one-hour weekly series, and fill in the huge gaps with digital scenes.* Scrap the stupid scenes that didn't follow the book (Dumbledore took Norbert) and fill it in with what really happened (going up to the tower to give Norbert to Charley).
