Rowena was born in "the glen" which means she might have been from the "Great Glen"near Loch Ness or Glencoe in Scotland, but it's hard to say what glen she might have actually have been from as there are so many glens all around the British Isles. She was obviously very smart. She's creditied with coming up with the idea of the chaning staircases and rooms in Hogwats. She was good friends with Helga Hufflepuff. I've always imagined Rowena as very tall and thin, like the Grey lady. She probably read a lot of books too.
